Helios Recovery offers a number of training opportunities including the full catalog of CCAR curriculum. In addition services, plans can be tailored to deliver specific outcomes and consultation as needed on an ongoing basis.

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© and Ethical Considerations is a 6-day intensive training academy focusing on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor, and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. This training also includes the ethical considerations for recovery coaches which addresses many areas including defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement, and legal issues. This course will help Recovery Coaches maintain good boundaries when serving others.
 

Online Training Dates / Times:

RCA - Aug 22nd - Aug 25th / 8:30am to 5pm

Ethics - Aug 26th & 27th / 8am to 5pm 

This training is approved by NAADAC and accepted nationally at most certification boards including IC&RC Member boards, we do encourage participants to check with their local board prior to signing up for any course.

Qualifying organizations can submit a request from a consultant or partnering organization from either the Opioid Response Network or the Peer Center of Excellence.

Complete a TA request form and within 24 business hours, a technology transfer specialist for your state/region will respond to obtain more information from you about your request. Note: The more specific your request is, the easier it will be to assist you. These TA providers cannot provide assistance in obtaining grants or funding for your organization. They can provide no-cost training and assistance to establish or build your peer recovery support service, build capacity at Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs), provide workforce development enhancement, share evidence-based best practices, education and training for the prevention, treatment or recovery of opioid use disorders, stimulant use and other substance use disorders,
