Helios Recovery Recognizes that the drug war and antiquated, iatrogenic, punitive addiction treatment methods have created disempowered experiences and services. This experience is especially true for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)/LGBTQQIA+ and other abled people’s bodies, minds, and spirits.

We are committed to developing/providing culturally responsive and effective recovery supports to create a collective path forward to challenge racial/gender/orientation, ability privilege culture, and the devastation it has wrought inside and outside the recovery community.

Helios was the Greek sun god who symbolized the power and vitality of the sun. In Greek mythology, Helios was associated with renewal, growth, and the cyclical nature of life. Today, the image of the sun rising each day is a powerful symbol of hope, especially for those who are seeking Recovery. Support services such as consulting, coaches, and access to multiple pathways to recovery are like the rays of the sun, offering guidance, support, and a path to a new life.  Like the sun, recovery is a powerful force that can bring light into the darkest corners of a person's life, providing a new dawn and a fresh start.
